The American Heroes Air Show started in Southern California in the mid-1990s as a helicopters-only air show with a focus on the work of the military and public safety agencies. The show, founded by SoCal Rotors Board member Jim Paules, offers static helicopter displays, aerial demonstrations, naturalization ceremonies for new citizens, tactical equipment displays and recruitment opportunities for those with an interest of serving their communities and their country. Other helicopters, including media, tour operators and flight schools, are also invited to fly in and share their knowledge and experience.
SoCal Rotors is proud to be a major sponsor of the American Heroes Air Show. In addition to our financial support, SoCal Rotors hosts a booth at the Los Angeles event, and our volunteers assist the Heroes event volunteers by providing assistance to the flight crews on site.
